Well worth the cheap price paid for this
Although the title of the documentary is quite misleading (As this documentary is about the World War 2 on both sides,,not on the rise and fall of Nazi Germany) ,,,it is well worth the money I paid for it. It has plenty of good footage...(the quality of the film picture is not all that great ,,,however, the content is good)
There is much actual war footage in this documentary and most of it is actually showing fighting. The format and style is very similar to the World War 1 Documentary narrated by Robert Ryan. It tells about the different stages of WW2 and the movements of troops and fighting along with the actual footage...beginning from the attack of Poland in September 1939 . It is unique in that it shows much war footage i have never seen before and talks about matters from World War 2 that i have not heard before and really goes into details about certain aspects of WW2..One particular example,,is the segment on Poelesti, Romania and its importance in Oil...
