Eastern Mystics

Timely and profound
This set of four beautifully produced DVDs offers a deep and timely message for everyone who is currently practicing, searching for a spiritual path, or simply interested in comparative religion. It is a precious and surprisingly rare opportunity to be able to listen to recognized masters from different spiritual traditions explain the nature of their practice and discuss how it has changed their lives. We live in time when bloody conflicts over perceived ownership of spiritual truth are all too common. The distinctions drawn between believer and heretic, saved and lost, too often become battle lines. As distances shrink and interdependence with other cultures grows commonplace, a more tolerant view of religious beliefs is critically needed. These DVDs give us an important and persuasive rebuttal for such narrow thinking, while giving confidence and encouragement to those interested in pursuing a mystical path themselves.

A Treasure
This is a gold mine of Eastern mystic wisdom, with in-depth interviews with 13 Eastern mystics. It has become even more important that these interviews were captured due to some of the mystics having passed away recently.

I have found these interviews very moving and instructive. They have significantly inspired and supported my own journey.

Transformative!
It's been a transformative journey. Each time I watch, something else resonates and I contemplate it until the next time. I am filled with gratitude for this gift.
The interviews on this set of DVD's are like observing an intimate conversation between two peers. Personally I would never have such an opportunity for this depth of sharing. The mystics talk of their own experiences, the path of their tradition, Truth and Peace. I can't imagine getting tired of watching.
